Switching Between Organizations

If you manage sub-organizations, you can switch between them to manage their resources.

Where to Find It

The Organization Switcher is located in the top bar, typically showing your current organization name in a dropdown.

What You'll See

Click the Organization Switcher to open a dropdown with two groups:

• Organization — Your primary (parent) organization
• Sub-organizations — Any sub-organizations under your account

The dropdown includes a search placeholder "Select organization" to quickly find the org you need.

Impersonating a Sub-Organization

When you select a sub-organization from the dropdown, you enter impersonation mode:

1. A yellow banner appears at the top of the screen with the text: "Impersonating [Organization Name]" and "You are acting as sub-organization ID [ID]".
2. All actions you perform now apply to the sub-organization's account — domains, DNS zones, contacts, billing, and settings all reflect the sub-organization's data.
3. To stop impersonating, click the "Stop impersonation" button on the yellow banner. You'll return to your primary organization's view.

Important Notes

• Impersonation is only available to users in the parent organization.
• Sub-organization users have exclusive access to their own account and cannot see the parent organization.
• All changes made during impersonation are applied to the sub-organization permanently.
