I am a customer based outside the EU (third countries). What do I need to register with OpusDNS?

When signing up with OpusDNS, you will be asked to provide general address and contact details.

The following notes are solely intended for guidance.

For customers based outside the EU:

  • For companies based outside the EU, it may be necessary for tax classification purposes to provide information about the nature of the business. Depending on the case, this may include, for example, a tax number, business registration number, or a comparable identifier.

  • For invoicing companies outside the EU, proof of business status is generally not mandatory. The information provided is used to ensure the correct tax classification of the service under applicable regulations.
  • Special note on the United Kingdom: Since Brexit, the UK is treated as a non-EU country, including Northern Ireland.

Note: The company’s registered business address and billing address are important for correct invoicing. If these details change— whether within Germany or to another country— this may affect tax treatment and invoicing. In such cases, all relevant customer master data, including any required VAT ID, should be updated.
