What happens after I register an OpusDNS account?
Steps to Complete the Setup
Confirm your Email
After registering your OpusDNS account, you will receive a confirmation email. Make sure to confirm your email address to activate your account fully.
Next Steps
Once your email is confirmed, you can set up two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance the security of your account and domain portfolio. You can also add passkeys for additional protection and faster login.
1. Set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. In addition to your password, you will need a second verification code when logging in, ensuring that only you can access your OpusDNS account.
Available 2FA Options
We support FreeOTP, Microsoft Authenticator, and Google Authenticator.
Recommendation: Use a mobile device for 2FA, as it provides a second source of authentication independent of your computer.

2. Add Passkeys
You can also set up device-based passkeys, such as fingerprint scans or Face ID on Apple devices, or other supported passkey methods. To enable this, go to Settings → Security in your OpusDNS dashboard and configure your passkeys.
Please Note: The availability of the passkey option may vary depending on your device, its type, and software version. Common options include Face ID or fingerprint authentication.
