Welcome to the OpusDNS Dashboard
After logging in, you land on the Dashboard home page. Here's what you'll see and how to navigate.
Layout Overview
The interface is divided into three main areas:
- Left Sidebar — Your primary navigation. It contains links to all major sections: Dashboard, Domains, Contacts, DNS Zones, Services, AI Concierge, Support, and at the bottom under "Pricing & Settings": Plans & Pricing, Settings, and Developer.
- Top Bar — Spans the full width at the top. Contains the OpusDNS logo (top-left), the Organization Switcher dropdown (shows your current organization name), a Theme Toggle button (sun/moon icon), and your User Avatar (top-right corner) which opens a dropdown menu with account and logout options.
- Main Content Area — The central area where page content is displayed.
Sidebar Navigation
The sidebar can be collapsed or expanded using the Toggle sidebar button (hamburger icon at the top of the sidebar). The navigation items are:
- Dashboard — Your account overview with key metrics
- Domains — Manage your domain portfolio (sub-items: All Domains, Register Domain, Transfer Domain)
- Contacts — Manage domain contact profiles (sub-items: All Contacts, Create Contact, Attribute Sets)
- DNS Zones — Configure DNS records and zones (sub-items: All DNS Zones, Create DNS Zone)
- Services — Additional domain services (sub-items: Domain Forwards, Email Forwards, Domain Parking, Statistics, Reports)
- Bulk Jobs — Manage and create bulk operations
- AI Concierge — Get help from the AI assistant (sub-items: Chat, Connected Registrars)
- Support — Get help and contact support
Under the "Pricing & Settings" label at the bottom:
- Plans & Pricing — View subscription plans and domain pricing
- Settings — Configure account, billing, security, preferences, users, organizations, and tags
- Developer — API credentials, security, request/object history, events
The sidebar footer contains links to the Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.
Organization Switcher
Located in the top bar, the Organization Switcher shows your current organization name. Click it to see a dropdown with two groups:
- Organization — Your primary organization
- Sub-organizations — Any sub-organizations you manage
Select a sub-organization to "impersonate" it. A yellow banner will appear at the top of the screen reading "Impersonating [Organization Name]" with a "Stop impersonation" button.
Alternatively, you can also go to Settings → Organizations and work directly from there in the context of a specific organization.
Theme and Language
- Theme Toggle — Click the sun/moon icon in the top bar to switch between Light, Dark, and System theme.
- Language — Available in English and German. Change via Settings or the language selector.
Where to Find Help
- Click Support in the sidebar for phone numbers, knowledge base, and the support center.
- Click AI Concierge in the sidebar to chat with the AI assistant for guided help.
- Use the Quick Actions bar on the Dashboard home page for common tasks like registering a domain, adding a DNS zone, or creating a contact.
